WebFeb 14, 2024 · I recently purchased the Nighthawk M6 Pro MR6400 hotspot. Unlike the MR5200 and MR6500, it does not seem to want to power on without the battery connected when tethered to a PC. I checked all of the settings in all three hotspots and they are identical. The USB port is set to charging and tethering.
